Spicy Cucumber Salad
Ingredients:
English Cucumbers - 150g
Burma Burma’s Chilli Garlic Oil - 4 tbsp
Burma Burma’s Balachaung (Crunchy Spice Blend) - 2 tbsp
Rice Vinegar - 1.3 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Sesame Seeds - 2 tsp
Method:
Peel and cut the English cucumbers into thick chunks.
In a bowl, toss the cucumber chunks with sugar and a pinch of salt. Let it sit for five minutes.
After five minutes, drain any excess liquid from the bowl.
Add Burma Burma’s Chilli Garlic Oil, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame seeds to the cucumber.
Gently mix everything together to ensure the cucumber is evenly coated with the dressing.
Refrigerate the salad for a short while to let the flavours meld.
Add Burma Burma’s Balachaung to the salad and serve the chilled Spicy Cucumber Salad as a refreshing side dish.
